2009 Team T-Shirt Winning Design

The "WaterBorne Pathogens" won the 2009 award for the most creative t-shirt design. Honorable mention goes to "Wild Women on Water" and "Uncivil Serpents". The description below helps to elaborate on the very creative winning design (keep in mind that they are a team of scientists as well!):

Steerus eraticus kept us on course,

Drumayella shoutatus kept us motivated,

Goneoutalanea boatacocci (pronounced boat a cockeye) reminded us of our past steering problems,

and Mephilius exhausterea is how we all feel after our races.

The colour of the t-shirt is also symbolic of the various bacteria represented.
